Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Willie joined the military after graduating from Chicago Vocational High School. He served seven years in the United States Army as a Sergeant, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep understanding of how organizations operate under structure, accountability, and pressure.

After completing his military service, Willie transitioned into the technology field, where he built his technical expertise while sharpening his business acumen.

His time working within the industry was intentional. As he gained experience, he was also laying the foundation to build and structure his own company. A defining moment during his time at another IT firm tested his integrity and values, leading him to make the decision to step away and pursue entrepreneurship.

That decision became the catalyst for the creation of ETI.

In June 2003, Willie founded Emerging Technology Integrators, LTD.
In the same month ETI launched, the company secured its first contract valued at over one million dollars, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s growth and validating Willie’s vision and leadership.

Over the past two decades, Willie has quietly built ETI into a trusted technology partner serving organizations across government, education, healthcare, and enterprise sectors. Under his leadership, ETI has secured major contracts ranging from public sector clients to national hardware retailers. His focus has remained consistent: building a company grounded in technical excellence, strong relationships, and long-term growth.
